48th Annual Summer Symposium 2022
July 25-28, 2022
Central College, Pella, IA

The ICDA Summer Symposium will be held July 25-28, 2022, at Central College in Pella. We're very excited to be returning to our traditional 4-day format and offering a wealth of opportunities to our membership! Highlights include concerts from Vocal Artists of Iowa, a cappella vocal band m-pact, the dynamic youth choir VocalEssence Singers of This Age, and Grammy Award-winning New York Voices, with Robyn Starks Holcomb leading the All-Iowa Show Choir, and Darmon Meader leading the All-State Jazz Choir. Our Worship Event will be in collaboration with Kyle Pederson (who most recently was the ACDA Genesis Prize winner), Lee Nelson, and VESOTA. We will welcome back Jake Runestad to conduct a directors’ choir of his works, and a variety of directors will be selected to take part in a conducting masterclass with Bruce Chamberlain. Social events include a night at Pella's Butcher's Brewhuis, as well as our annual gala. Please read below for a full list of our presenters, and plan on joining us in Pella July 25-28!
