Dr. Bradley Miller is Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Choral and Vocal Activities at Iowa Wesleyan College, where he oversees all aspects of the vocal music program and conducts the Iowa Wesleyan College Concert Choir and Broad Street Connection (vocal jazz ensemble). He teaches courses in conducting, secondary choral methods, diction, and studio voice. He also serves as conductor of the Mt. Pleasant Chorale, a 50-voice community chorus based in Mt. Pleasant.
Miller has conducted collegiate, high school, community, and church choirs. He has studied conducting with several distinguished teachers, including Rene Clausen, Bruce Chamberlain, Kathy Saltzman Romey, Matthew Mehaffey, and Elizabeth Schauer. His conducting skills were recognized at the 2008 National ACDA Convention where he was a finalist in the graduate student conducting competition.
Miller maintains an active schedule as a guest conductor, clinician, and adjudicator. He has led honor choirs and festival choruses throughout the region and has served as guest conductor of the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra, a professional ensemble based in Mt. Pleasant.
Miller earned a B.A. in music education from Concordia College-Moorhead, an M.M. in choral conducting from the University of Minnesota, and a D.M.A. from The University of Arizona. He resides in Mt. Pleasant with his wife, Ana, and their two sons, Nicholas and Lucas.
