SATB, accapella

Moderate difficulty

This set of three chamber pieces provides an excellent set of contrasting movements based on poems exulting love.  Willametta Spencer has superbly caught the mood of each text.  The first and third pieces are light and lively, whereas the middle piece is more brooding in a minor key, slower tempo and homophonic texture.  Each piece is relatively short, and, even though they could stand alone, I think the whole set is necessary to really capture the true intent and artisitic creativity of the composer and poet.

This set would work well for either chamber choir competition or concert performance
