This piece would make a good contest or festival selection for either a good middle school or young high school choir. It has the limited male range (F to d) of 3-part mixed, but does divide into SATB occasionally. The treble parts (some Soprano divisii) are rhythmically interesting and use healthy vocal ranges, i.e. head voice for altos, with melodic diversity.
