5-7-2013 Morningside's music major day (June 8th) will be full of great information for those of you considering a music major in college. The show choir camp (June 24-28) will be perfect for ALL of you, and the Young Performers Institute (June 16-22) promises to start building your skills as a singing performer! 5-2-2013 Buena Vista University is offering 3 music camps this summer:
1 - The BVU Show Choir AND Jazz Choir camp is being held July 26-28th. We are excited to continue the annual show choir camp, with Tom Gerking, Joel Johnston, Brent Peterson, Minda Thompson, Jim Cox and Stephani Hyatt on staff!

First annual Jazz Choir camp! With many schools transitioning to jazz choir, and not very many summer music camp opportunities for jazz choir students, we are happy to offer this new option. The Jazz Choir Camp will be run by Rick and Melodie Chitty.

Pre All State camp will be held August 1-3. An intense 3 day camp spent learning the all-state literature, culminating in a final concert/recording session. Comprehensive Sound Services will be recording the final concert. Directors leading this camp include Steve Woodin, Mike Walag, Brent Peterson, Adam Orban, Corky Koerselman, and Jim Cox. 5-2-2013 2nd Annual \"Just Sing It\" Choir Competition Saturday, April 5th, 2014 at O\'Gorman High School in Sioux Falls, SD.
Level ONE - a performance scored against a standard of excellence with awards of GOLD, SILVER, or BRONZE
Level TWO - allows choirs that score a GOLD compete for FIRST & SECOND PLACE trophies in their class
Choirs can choose to participate in the first level or both. Choirs receive a 40 minute workshop with one of the Midweat\'s finest collegiate directors. Contact isCathy Britton
