Welcome to the East Central District! My name is Jennifer Walker and I am currently in my 13th year of teaching General Music with the Linn-Mar School District. Music is the cornerstone of our household as my husband, Matt, also teaches music serving as the Director of Choral Activities at Xavier High School. Our five-year old daughter, Lilly, loves music and is constantly singing, dancing and creating. She loves to “teach” her friends singing and is excited to be a kindergarten student and attending "real" music class!

ICDA is such a wonderful professional organization to be a part of. I urge all of you to take advantage of the many clinics and festivals that are offered in the EC District this year. ICDA is only as strong as its members and it is important that all of us continue to support each other by attending district functions.

Please do not hesitate to call or email me with any suggestions or concerns you may have. I am here to be your liaison and look forward to meeting many of you at the wonderful EC district events scheduled this year.
